editorial

My event photography mostly comes from a drive to "capture the moment". Often involving people, I create stories of the event or project I am working on. I work throughout New Zealand and internationally, and also design photography books, and produce multimedia films, both  mediums well suited to story telling.

food

Most food is photographed on location or in restaurants with natural light . Projects sometimes include portraits, landscapes and editorial styled images. I art direct and style photography, help source props and work closely with clients and publishers to create the look they want. Most plated food photos can be purchased complete with recipes.

portraits

I love working with people and often photograph portraits for both commercial and private clients. On location or in the studio I can quickly put people at ease or work with a more creative brief.  I’m naturally a very curious person, and one of my favorite parts about being a photographer is meeting new people and learning something new.

projects

Photographs here reflect my own vision. When not working with clients I often put time into other photography projects.

multimedia films

My work combines the aesthetics of photography with the narrative of film. I am always on the lookout for new projects to record or to edit. I would love to hear from you if you wish to talk over a new film or multimedia subject.
